they found a man who had been shot. it was inside a detached garage. they were there gathering evidence and at this point the victim's name is not being released because police are trying to notify his family. they have a solid witness in this case and they are talking exactly about who that person may be. again at the police station and i am in contact hoping to speak with his sergeant into last night's shooting. it is vallejo's 6th homicide and actually the third just this month. alex savage, ktvu channel 2 morning news. >> and people in antioch were

. time now 6:13, two people died, their private jet crashed into the south bend regional airport. two other passengers on the ground were injured. the plane was flying from tulsa oklahoma when it hit three houses and became lodged in one of them. investigators say the plane was having mechanical problems and they forced several homes to be evacuated. you may have heard somebody south of rug road 6:00 p.m.

. welcome back, time now 6:24, police are searching for a bank robber and here is a surveillance photo of the man on landis avenue two weeks ago. he passed note demanding money and he was a latino man, 6-foot tall, weighing between two and three hundred pounds. bay area cities are using new technology to fight copper thieves. they are stealing it from traffic signals and bart tracks, and they get $400 for the recycling tenters and they are fitting 400 to identify where it is friend and they can get evidence about where that copper is stolen. ellison brought the yacht race to san francisco where it

partying wrapped up, you can see where this area was cordoned off and they are running it and waiting for a crew to come up and it is on central avenue and park. police say there was two to three people in a heated argument when somebody pulled what we believe was a knife. suspects scattered and the victim's condition is still unknown and the suspect took off in a during colored sedan eastbound towards broadway and they spotted a suspicious looking car and if you saw it, alameda police would like you to give them a call. they will be interviewing the bartender to get an idea of who they are looking for, no weapon
